5 Hour Baby Sweater Beginning

And I finally did some knitting again! Since I knew we were heading to the lake, which means car time, I auditioned a few projects on Friday before finally settling on this one. This is the 5 Hour Baby Sweater and I'm actually using some of my stash for it - just some pale pink worsted. I *adore* knitting and it felt so good to be doing it again. However, even after this little bit I could feel the carpal tunnel in my right arm acting up. The job I have uses a mouse - exclusively - for 8 hours a day, which is also the same tendon (?) that my knitting uses, so quite a problem. However, my mom came up with the brilliant idea that I try teaching myself the continental method of knitting since that way more of the knitting stress maybe would be on my left arm and work stress on my right arm! So when this sweater is done that is my next project - probably a baby blanket knit continental style.

And yes, Joe loves to be in pictures....

Can't wait to see the finished results ~ It looks beautiful! I learned to knit continental way and then taught myself the traditional method. Continental is much easier and faster!
