Mojo Monday Card on Friday Again!

Yesterday was a momentous occasion in our family - my son is now a quarter of a century old! We'll be getting together tomorrow to celebrate, but I wanted to share the card I made for him. He is a Systems Engineer and a gamer, so I bought this stamp set specifically with him in mind.

This is the first time I've ever really done much to the inside of a card, but I think I might be hooked now! I think the sentiment is a hoot and having the bluish paper just adds something to it.

Speaking of the paper, when I sat down to make the card I couldn't find any masculine looking paper in all my piles. I went online and found The Sugarplum Paperie and bought some digital paper! What an awesome concept and might mean the end to some of my paper piles in the future. All I did was print little bits of the paper that I needed for this card - no fuss, no muss! I don't think it would be good to do for the big scrapbooking papers because the cost of ink might be too high, but it sure is a nice option for card making. :)

I still have a cough, but other than that am finally feeling better. I knew yesterday that I must be feeling better when I was able to make a card after work instead of going straight to bed!
I'm not sure what is going around this year, but it is truly evil. Everybody I know that has gotten sick has had it hang on for way too long. And speaking of which, please add my mom to your prayer list. She's got the same thing I had (we're assuming) and it's about to wear her out.
