Girlfriends Bible Study

"Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain."

We had another large storm roll through North Texas this morning and while I didn't literally dance in the rain I did grab my camera and run outside after it stopped raining. After the 'feet in the air sock picture taking moment' I think my neighbors might not be the least surprised to see me out dancing in the rain though.

The air is so fresh and clean and cool now and the birds are absolutely thrilled based on the sound of their songs.
Living Beyond Yourself: Last night's Bible study was wonderful. Beth Moore's studies are detailed enough to really make you think, learn and grow. The flip side of that is that her videos show how silly she can be sometimes, then sneak up when you least expect it and bring it all around to make a point. We all laughed so hard at some of her stories and at other times we sat startled by the fact that can seemingly see right into our souls. Some tears were shed and new friendships have started to take root. Honestly can it get any better than that?

On the girly side of things, our hostess last night was just so kind and gracious. There was chocolate and talk of hair and children and grandchildren. A typical gathering of girlfriends. :)

Good times....

I love all things Beth Moore! She is so real and yet she can be really "deep"! Your Bible study group sounds like a lot of fun. I would love to find a group out there to keep my accountable. I've bought several of her Bible Studies but I never stay on it...I guess I really need that accountability!

Kadie and I's favorite thing to do is dance in the rain. However, it has to be a afternoon shower before you will find us out and about.LOL!!!! (snore, snore) I have not done Beth Moore's bible study, but the ladies in the bible study next to ours have and I could hear them laughing and I could hear some of the video. She sounds very intense at times. Maybe next time they do the class I will have to go. Sounds like a really great group of ladies and very glad you are enjoying the class.

Hi again,
Just stopping by. We've had a lot of rain here this week too. The quote and the picture are very fitting for these rainy days it sounds like we've all been having! Have a great weekend!

We've had about one sunny day in the past two weeks. It rained again this morning!

Sometimes when I'm outside snapping pictures I wonder if my neighbors are watching and wondering what I'm doing. Like the one the other day when I took a picture out my front door of the fog. If they were looking they'd think I was taking it of their house. :)

I love Beth Moore. We've done Living Beyond Yourself and loved it. Like you said, she can have you laughing one minute, crying the next, then teaching you things out of the Bible you've heard your whole life but never like she explains it. She's awesome.
I'm glad y'all had a good time and new friendships are being made.

Happy Mother's Day!
Love,
Valerie

My daughter and I danced in the rain today. :)
We are in San Antonio and it poured and we were overly joyful. :)
