I'm sure everybody knows by now just how much I love this little girl. And I am beyond thrilled to get to spend some time with her this weekend.I took this picture the day the three of us went up to the lake and it makes me laugh every time I look at it. She makes this face all the time and it's cute as can be.
And notice her shirt says "Grandpa's Sweetheart" on the front - and grandpa is right there at the edge of the picture. She is such a grandpa's girl and will follow him anywhere.
Good times, good food, and good company. The 4th of July is absolutely one of my favorite holidays and I have so very many good memories of it. Those memories might just be the reason I love this holiday so much. It's always spent with family and laughter.
