On to my tip! We really enjoy the Country Time "on the go" tubes of lemonade and Keith takes one with him to work each day. It hit us though that each tube cost about a quarter, so when we saw the extra large rub of powder at Sam's for only about five bucks we snatched one up. I went to Hobby Lobby and got a package of jewelry zip bags that I think measure 2"x3" and on sale they were about a penny each. Last night I measured out all the powder in little bags and when we did the figuring it ended up being about a nickel each! OK, saving twenty cents each didn't sound all that much until I was emailing my mom and figuring it out and if Keith takes one bag each work day over the course of a year that adds up to $52 - well worth standing there in my opinion.

WFNW!
Yeah, I'm a joiner again! I just discovered this theme on Shannon's blog and have really enjoyed reading the tips on the other blogs. Some don't apply to me since my kids are grown now, but that's ok. And actually I enjoy reading the young mom blogs as it reminds me of my kids when they were little. :)

Oh, this is a really good one. I love those little one-bottle packets of mix but they are too darned expensive. How much do you measure out into each little bag? I'd definitely like to try this!
Cool idea. Welcome to WFMW. I love your name, Texasjoy! I'm a displaced Texan living in CT.
That's a lot of lattes ;). Great idea!
mom2fur - we used 1 scoop in each baggie and one baggie for each 16.9 oz water bottle.
GREAT idea. That's a lot of money to save! :)
Glad you're joinin' in the WFMW.. Lookingforward to seeing you again! :)
Thanks, Elizabeth! I'm definitely going to try this one. :)
20 cents adds up - what a great idea. I love things that save money. :)
Awesome idea. I keep thinking about buying those single server Crystal Lights but I just couldn't spend the money.
