I then read your blog and become teary. Even though I was not of his flesh and blood your dad meant the world to me. <br /><br />I miss him as if it were yesterday and in many ways time has stood still, while other facets of life have blown by. My sister died almost 1...I am sorry for your loss. My sister died almost 10 years ago and there are days when it still feels fresh (I have had other losses too). I don't think you ever "get over" it, I think you learn to "get through" it.
